There are six current members on The Shannon Airport Group Executive Team with responsibility for the day-to-day operations.

Mary Considine –CEO

Mary is the CEO of The Shannon Airport Group.

Mary was appointed Chief Executive Officer in October 2019. Mary was formerly Deputy CEO and CFO/Company Secretary.  In her previous role as Airport Director she led the successful separation of Shannon Airport from daa leading to Shannon Airport becoming independent in 2012 and the formation of Shannon Group in late 2014. Mary is a qualified accountant, and she has extensive experience in the areas of aviation, commercial and finance having previously held a number of senior roles within the Company.

Ray O’Driscoll – Chief Operating Officer

Ray was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2019. He joined the Group in April 2014 as Managing Director of Shannon Commercial Properties.  Prior to this, Ray had worked in the role of Finance and IT Director of Barry Group since 2004 and before this as Finance Director of Eurologic Systems Ltd.  Ray qualified as a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA Degree from the University of Westminster, London.

Caroline Kelleher - Director of Public Affairs

Caroline was appointed Director of Public Affairs in June 2017.  Caroline has responsibility for the Group’s public affairs, communications and marketing functions. Prior to joining the Group, Caroline was Director of Policy with Limerick Chamber and worked as a Senior Economist with DKM Economic Consultants, AECOM Strategic Planning and Advisory and Goodbody Stockbrokers. Caroline is an Economist and a Chartered Management Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Economic Science from University College Cork and a Post Graduate Diploma in Statistics from Trinity College Dublin.

Rachael Leahy – Company Secretary and Head of Legal

Rachael joined the company in November 2014 as the Head of Legal and is also responsible for the Group’s procurement function.  In her role as Shannon Group Company Secretary, Rachael is responsible for the efficient administration of the Group ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Rachael is a practising solicitor and prior to joining the company, she trained and worked with one of the top five law firms in Ireland and was a partner with a firm of solicitors in the Mid-West. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, an LLB degree and a Professional Certificate in Governance.

Paul MacNamara - Chief Financial Officer

Paul was appointed Chief Financial Officer in June 2019.  He joined the company in August 2014 and held a number of senior finance roles including Head of Finance. Paul has overall responsibility for the Group’s fiscal activity and the Group’s IT function.
Prior to joining the Shannon Group, Paul held both credit and commercial roles with a property focused asset manager. Before this, Paul worked with a Big 4 accountancy firm in its transaction services practice. Paul holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Limerick, a Master of Accounting from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
