Our Shannon Campus is home to the largest aerospace and aviation community in Ireland, with over 80 firms employing over 3,000 and growing steadily. Located across Shannon Airport and the business park spans the entire industry value chain, encompassing everything from aircraft leasing, maintenance and recycling to component manufacture, parts repair and business aviation.

In 2023, the Shannon Airport Group sponsored the first Women in Aviation Mid-West Networking Event inside the renowned Shannon Aviation Museum. Over 150 women working in the aviation and aerospace sectors from Limerick and Clare attended the event to collaborate and form synergies, making it a resounding success. The organisers of Women in Aviation Midwest continue to organize conferences and events throughout the year that are open to all aviation professionals, supporting an inclusive industry.
