Key Services

  • UPS, FedEx and DHL all provide nightly air service between Shannon and their respective hubs.
  • Turkish Airlines Cargo operates weekly scheduled A330 freighter services from Istanbul via Shannon to New York JFK, Chicago and Atlanta, with full fifth-freedom rights. 

 

Today, all the major cargo integrators including UPS, FedEx and DHL operate into Shannon using a range of aircraft from the ATR42, operated by ASL airlines for FedEx, to a 757-200 aircraft by DHL and a 767-300 operated by UPS.In 2022, Shannon Airport became part of CargoLux’s global network with the introduction of a  weekly, year-round service which routes from Los-Angeles via Seattle to Shannon and then onwards to Cargolux’s hub in Luxembourg.

Partly due to increased global trade and by the rise of e-commerce, Shannon has seen an 25% increase in Cargo since 2019. With our unrestricted runway, 24/7 operation, handling expertise, and many major global logistics firms operating at the airport, we can provide you with cargo options you will not find anywhere else in Ireland.
