The Shannon Airport Group plc is a commercial semi-state organisation combining aviation services at Shannon Airport with a dynamic commercial property portfolio across its business parks. We are committed to leading on sustainability and shaping a low-carbon, resilient future for our region.

We have a robust decarbonisation pathway to 2030, including terminal energy efficiency retrofits, a new PV farm, fleet electrification, and significant initiatives in water efficiency, waste reduction, circular economy practices, and biodiversity enhancement.

The Sustainability Data and ESG Reporting Lead will be at the centre of delivering this transformation. Reporting to the Head of Sustainability and based at Shannon Airport, you will ensure the accuracy, insight, and integrity of the data that drives our climate and environmental decision-making. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to identify and deliver impactful projects and will also collaborate widely across the Group and externally to help accelerate progress in delivery our sustainability ambitions.

In February 2026, we were awarded Green Large Organisation of the Year and Green Public Sector Organisation of the Year at the National Green awards.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Lead the calculation, analysis, and tracking of the Group’s Scope 1, 2 & 3 GHG emission footprint.
• Manage the SEAI Monitoring & Reporting and Airport Carbon Accreditation reporting process in addition to other relevant reporting frameworks and standards
• Contribute to annual VSME sustainability report
• Collaborate with operational teams to track energy, waste, water, and biodiversity indicators, and other sustainability related KPIs
• Identify trends and opportunities for improvement through data analytics
• Engage and manage external consultants
• Manage key partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including participation in relevant sustainability committees and working groups
• Lead on stakeholder management for Scope 3 emissions reduction at Shannon Airport and across the group
• Provide data and update reports for senior management on carbon and sustainability related KPIs
• Develop dashboards and visual tools to communicate ESG performance
• Develop communications to raise awareness of sustainability issues to staff, external stakeholders and the public

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The candidate should have:

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in data analysis, sustainability / environmental or similar role
• Recognised third level degree in Science/ Engineering /Accountancy or similar
• Postgraduate qualification in sustainability or related discipline desirable
• Strong data analysis/ analytical skills and proficiency with tools such as Excel, Power BI or equivalent
• Experience of using carbon/emissions footprinting tools desirable but not essential
• Experience of management systems and certifications desirable e.g. ISO 140001, ISO 50001
• Experience in delivery of complex projects in multi-stakeholder environments
• Strong communication and influencing skills - both verbal and written
• Personable disposition and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating cross functionally across the organisation and with wider external stakeholders
• A ‘can do’ attitude and a positive solution-focused mindset.

Cyber Security Analyst

Role Purpose:

Shannon Airport Group is seeking a Security Analyst with a strong foundation in IT and a genuine motivation to develop a career in cyber security.

This role is ideal for candidates coming from service desk, systems, network, or infrastructure backgrounds who understand how technology operates in a real world environment and are ready to build on that experience in a security focused role.

We are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and committed to learning - with a desire to develop hands on cyber security skills while supporting the protection of critical systems and services across the organisation.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Support security risk assessments, governance activities, and maintenance of risk registers, including control validation and action tracking
• Assist with third‑party and supplier security reviews, threat modelling, and security awareness initiatives such as phishing simulations and training
• Help maintain asset inventories, data classification compliance, and secure data handling, while identifying risks in legacy or unsupported systems
• Monitor and triage security alerts, perform initial incident analysis, and support incident response, forensics, and resilience testing
• Assist with vulnerability management, including scanning, risk prioritisation, remediation tracking, and reporting metrics (KPIs/KRIs)
• Support security architecture reviews by identifying design risks, validating controls, and contributing to secure system lifecycle activities
• Assist with identity and access management processes, including user access reviews, privileged access checks, and lifecycle controls
• Support network and infrastructure security monitoring, including firewalls, VPNs, and investigation of network threats
• Contribute to assessment of third‑party and SaaS application security risks, including reviewing vendor documentation and identifying common vulnerabilities

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The candidate should have:

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in data analysis, sustainability / environmental or similar role
• 1–2 years’ experience in IT operations (service desk, systems, or network administration) or cyber security operations (e.g. SOC, vulnerability management, monitoring)
• Demonstrated interest in cyber security with a clear intent to transition into a security-focused role
• Hands-on experience with ticket handling, escalation processes, and incident/problem management
• Practical exposure to operational IT controls, processes, and tooling
• Experience or familiarity with security activities such as alert triage, incident handling, or vulnerability management
• Awareness or involvement in identity and access management processes
• Exposure to security tools such as SIEM, EDR, or email security solutions

Certifications:

• Working towards a recognised cyber security certification (e.g. degree, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, or equivalent)
• Relevant academic background in Cyber Security or a related field preferred
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, or similar entry‑ to mid‑level credentials desirable
• Reports to the Lead Cyber Security Analyst and supports day‑to‑day security operations
• Collaborates closely with GRC, network/infrastructure teams, service desk, and external security vendors and providers
